This is hopefully slipping into the background with Toledo City Council.  We are praying that is the case and this is a dead issue.

Even so, people can be encouraged to contact Toledo City Council members and ask that they stand against and vote no on any version of the proposed ‘patient safety’ ordinance.  The reasons to site when contacting President of Council, Matt Cherry and other council members is to impress on them that:

Toledo Remembers Sam Szor

This photo is of Sam Szor when he was conducting the Toledo Symphony Orchestra in the National Anthem for a Mudhens game.  They gave him the jersey to wear and he also threw out the first pitch. The pitch made it across home plate, I believe, but on a bounce!  Good thing he did music and not baseball!  :-)
“Sam Szor:  Toledo’s Mr. Music,” a biography of Sam’s professional life is available at Gathering Volumes Bookstore in Perrysburg, at Musical Resources 2020 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd, Toledo, at the Rockets Bookstore at 3047 W. Bancroft, Toledo and also on line at utoledopress.com.
