WHO

Fur Angels Rescue Shelter, a no-kill group (unless the animal is dangerous or euthanasia is medically necessary) who provides temporary and long-term shelter, warmth and safety, food, medical treatment and love in a network of foster homes until each animal finds their perfect, forever home.  The non-profit organization – who has a goal of having a brick-and-mortar shelter – does not receive any state or federal funding and relies on support from individuals and businesses to help the community’s homeless animals.

Praying for the preborn with Bishop Daniel E Thomas at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. Held on the 48th anniversary of Roe V. Wade. The Mass will be live-streamed on the Diocese of Toledo website.

Friday, January 22 at 11:30am
Memorial Plaque Dedication Service at Hope Park. Hope Park is Toledo’s Memorial Site for the pre-born babies lost from abortion or through miscarriage. The park is on the site of the ruins of the old Center for Choice abortion facility.

Zion UMC to Offer Electronics Recycling Day

Zion United Methodist Church in Whitehouse will host its 4th Annual Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, 1/23, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the church parking lot. The event is free and open to the public. Zion is located at 10926 Maumee Street in Whitehouse. All are invited to come and dispose of their unwanted electronic devices in an environmentally responsible way. More information can be found on Zion’s web site: www.zionumcwhitehouse.org.
