Christmas Outreach – Adopt a Family: Each year our parish assists those in need within our Parish boundaries, as well as referrals from Sylvania Area Family Services, Harbor, and Heroes in Action. This outreach has been successful due to your support, and willingness to adopt a family – it’s a great way to put our faith into action. We have families ranging in size from one to six. Many parishioners form “teams” to share in the shopping for our larger families. You will receive detailed shopping and delivery guidelines. Gifts can be delivered to the East Campus Meeting Rooms or directly to our Heroes in Action families. We will need many volunteers during the first 3 weeks of December. All help is welcomed! Donations are accepted at the Parish Office (check payable to Saint Joseph Parish with Christmas Outreach in the memo)Christmas Families can be adopted beginning November 8th. Contact Laurie Foster: text or call 419-460-1702 or email LCMR59@bex.net.
For Heroes in Action and volunteering, please contact Sue Jurski by email suejurski@buckeye-express. com or 419-350-8161 if you can help.
