October 27 Worship: Reformation Sunday Scriptures: Jeremiah 31:31-34; Psalm 46; Romans 3:19-28; John 8:31-36 We welcome the Gospel quartet, “One Spirit” to our worship. The group is based out of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, and is led by Tim Tiderman. In lieu of a Love Offering, One Spirit asks that everyone brings in a food item to be given to the Otsego Food Pantry.
Girls’ October Event: Women’s Empowerment Conference Friday-Saturday, October 11th-12th The Tabernacle, 531 Pinewood Ave, Toledo Cost is $22. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX COLLECTION The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Fill a shoe box with toys, school items, etc. and bring joy to an underprivileged child! Boxes and brochures are available downstairs. The brochure has the label you need & directions on filling the box for the age and gender child you are buying for. The boxes should not be wrapped. Please place filled boxes in front of the pulpit in the sanctuary by Sunday, November 24th.
