Padre Pio Prayer Group

Dear Fellow Parish Bulletin Reps:  January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus, which is celebrated on January 3, 2018.  The Holy Father’s intentions for January, 2018:  Religious Minorities in Asia:  That Christians and other religious minorities in Asian countries may be able to experience their faith in full freedom.  Special feast days in January include: Mary (1/1), Most Holy Name of Jesus (1/3), Elizabeth Ann Seton (1/4),Epiphany of the lord (1/7), Presentation of the Lord (1/8), Day CrossPrayerof Prayer for the Unborn (1/22), Our Lady of Peace (1/24), John Bosco (1/31).

FYI: A fellow Padre Pio Prayer Group, Woodbury, NY, meets every first Friday @ Holy Name of Jesus Church, perfect name for this month of January.

Car Wash to Support The Salvation Army

SalvationArmyToledo, OH (December 11, 2017) – Speedy Clean Laundromat and Car Wash (6661 W. Bancroft St. Toledo, Oh 43615 corner of Bancroft and McCord) along with the Springfield High School softball team will be collecting donations for The Salvation Army December 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be volunteers providing free car washes for those that donate. Dan Shook, the owner of Speedy Clean Laundromat and Car Wash organized the fundraiser. Continue reading »

Applications will be accepted at The Salvation Army at 620 N. Erie St., Toledo, Ohio 43604 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Oct. 23, 25-27 and on Oct 24 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
