St. Joseph’s Respect Life Ministry’s 2018 Mother’s Day Baby Bottle Campaign! Respect Life Mother’s Day Baby Bottle Campaign begins Mother’s Day weekend, May 12th and 13th. The donations, as in the past, go to support Heartbeat and The Pregnancy Center who support women with unplanned pregnancies. These organizations offer pregnancy tests, ultrasound, support, counseling, and education to assist mothers, fathers, and their babies. Please fill the bottles with cash and checks. The bottles can be brought back anytime between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day weekend. There will be a box in the back of the church to put the bottles in or you may take them to the Parish Center. Thank you in advance for your continued support of mothers and their babies.

Little Rock Scripture Study: Nothing enriches the contemplation of the mysteries of the Rosary like encountering them at their source in Sacred Scripture. Five Scripture passages from the New Testament are explored for each set of the Rosary’s mysteries: the Joyful, the Sorrowful, the Luminous, and the Glorious. Join us for a five-week study on the Rosary to be held on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:00, at the East Campus Meeting Rooms. Sessions will be on May 16, 23, and 30. Registration is required by calling 419- 885-5791 or email jdenyer@stjoesylvania.org. A study set (cost of $12.00) will be distributed at the first meeting. All Adults are welcome (including High School youth). Please consider bringing a friend!

JOSEPH’S MEALS Saturday and Sunday, May 12th and 13th will be a sign-up weekend for anyone interested in helping with our monthly, parish food donation to the Helping Hands of St. Louis Soup Kitchen. Tables will be in the back and front of the church with lists of various items that are needed. Please sign up to make a pasta dish or to provide other foods or supplies. Because of the setup for Festirama this month, the drop-off point for these items will be on the East Campus bus loop, on Wednesday morning, May 16th, between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. If you would like to contribute to this outreach program, please make your check payable to St. Joseph Social Outreach.

St. Joseph Parish, Sylvania, Seeks Summer Intern St. Joseph Parish is seeking a qualified college student to serve as a Summer Intern. Responsibilities include: updating our alumni database for St. Joseph School, reaching out to area high schools, connecting to diocesan records, performing online searches, making research-related phone calls. This position will be a part-time summer position (twenty to twenty-four hours per week). Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma, high level of computer expertise in Excel, excellent communication skills, ability to project oneself in a positive and professional manner, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, perform at a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Are you a Catholic homeschooling family in the Toledo diocese? Then please join us at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo for our 14th Annual Diocesan Homeschooling Mass and Graduation. Reverend Monsignor William J. Kubacki will be celebrating our Mass. It’s a wonderful evening of prayer, fellowship, food, and fun! Please bring a finger-food dish to share for the reception immediately following the Mass.
