America on Its Knees
On January 25, 1968, the United States Congress, by a Joint Resolution of the 100th Congress, declared the first Thursday of each May to be recognized as a National Day of Prayer. Hence on this national holy day it is a good, time to reflect on prayer. One prayer which touches my soul was written by Mr. Hilton.
Nick Taylor came to Toledo on a track scholarship to attend the University of Toledo. When he graduated from U.T., he left with a civil engineering degree in hand, a bride at his side, and Christ in his heart. Through the witness of a roommate, and through the discipleship of Campus Bible Fellowship, Nick came to Christ and was grounded in the faith. He continued to grow in Him as he and Amy became members of Emmanuel Baptist Church where the Taylors lent sweat and toil to many missions trips and served on the missions committee. While still working, Nick obtained a seminary degree from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit. After an internship at EBC, Nick and Amy were called to full-time missions service.

In the event of rain, we will move the reception to the West Campus Banquet Hall.
While it may be best known for retirement, Social Security is also here to help you get back to work if you are disabled. For millions of people, work isn’t just a source of income, it’s a vital part of who they are — it gives them purpose and pride — it’s a connection to the community. If you’re getting Social Security disability benefits, we have good news for you. Social Security’s work incentives and Ticket to Work programs can help you if you’re interested in working. Special rules make it possible for people receiving Social Security disability benefits or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) to work and still receive monthly payments.
Look with the eyes of your soul and see the beauty in others and you will see you are in paradise.
