Women’s Valentine Day Luncheon, February 7th
Mary of Nazareth: Woman of Grace Presented by: Sister Shannon Schrein, OSF
The lovely little prayer that we all hold dear begins “Hail Mary, full of Grace.” These simple words describe Mary’s life lived deeply; a life that is grounded in her relationship with God and confirmed with a simple “Yes.” Our reflection together will consider Mary’s significance in our lives. The way that she lived serves as a model for us and will help us to grow in faith. We will consider her life in Nazareth, her biblical portrait and what the Church has come to know and believe about Mary of Nazareth, Mother of Jesus, sister, friend, prophet and disciple.
