St. Matthew’s Fundraiser
On June 3, 2017 from 9 am to 4 pm St. Matthew’s Church is having their 2nd Annual Fund-e-Vent! Located at 5240 Talmadge Rd., we will be featuring a Pig Roast, Children’s Games, Crafters, Garage Sale items, Raffles and Entertainment. So come on down and watch our champion tomahawk thrower and bounce in our bouncy house. Afterward enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Chef Gino. On your way out buy a gift for someone (or yourself) at one of our venders. (We are holding this event to raise funds to pay for the renovations needed due to a 50 year termite infestation. Our insurance did not cover the damage).

Dear Fellow Parish Bulletin Reps: As we begin to feel the warmth of summer, we can reflect that we celebrate the feasts of The Sacred Heart (June 3) and the Immaculate Heart of Mary (June 4). God is Love, and The Sacred Heart of Jesus is present on earth and in the Blessed Sacrament, a human manifestation of God’s Love for men. June is considered the month of weddings where human hearts join and cooperate with the Creator in bringing forth new life. The family they create is a human reflection of the Blessed Trinity. Mother’s Day by Terry McCauley
Good Morning Everyone!Welcome to another beautiful day in paradise. Look with the eyes of your soul and see the beauty in others and you will see you are in paradise.
Sunday (May 14) is Mothers Day, a day that is set aside to honor and thank our Mother and all Mothers including Grandmothers, Step Mothers, and Foster Mothers. Mothers are the embodiment of life and love. They give life, nourish life and share life all with love. So yes, let’s thank our Mothers and tell them we love them on Sunday and every day. Even if they have passed on to the next life, tell them. They will hear you. They will know.
Also please note that Saturday (May 13) is Birth Mothers Day. Birth Mothers should be remembered and thanked too. Birth Mothers are mothers who placed their child for adoption. They gave life to someone and then made the decision to let that life, their child, be nourished and loved by others. I can’t imagine how difficult that decision would be. But they chose LIFE! And that’s a good thing. I imagine that there could be times when they would question: Why did I do this? Or, Did I do the right thing? So if you know a Birth Mother may I suggest that on Saturday you affirm her and her decision. Birth Mothers are the embodiment of life and love too.
AZUSA NOW PRE-RALLY MEETING TOLEDO
Preparing for the Cleveland Event with Lou Engle, TheCall: will be in Toledo for an evening of worship and to share the vision of the upcoming Azusa Now Cleveland event in July. It will take place at the 1501 Monroe Street,from 7pm-9:30pm. Capacity is limited, RSVP at www.eventbrite.com
Lou will share how God brought their team to Cleveland and why Ohio is such a significant part of what is happening throughout the country and as we are preparing for the third Great Awakening in our nation.

Cherry Street Mission Ministries Spring Fundraiser
WHAT: The annual spring fundraiser for Cherry Street Mission Ministries will feature keynote speaker Dan Rogers sharing the history, current projects, and future plans for the organization; two former Cherry Street guests sharing their personal stories (including a recovering alcoholic and recent Auto Technology program graduate); a virtual tour of the facility, and more. In addition to the program, a plated dinner and networking event will take place as well.
