Poverty Summit 2015 Invitation

stoppoverty_nyWhat would Lucas County look like if every Christian church were working in some loosely but strategically coordinated manner?
What would the church itself look like?
You are invited to attend the Poverty Summit 2015 — Mind the Gap.

Is My Child Ready For Kindergarten?

How do I know if my child is ready to start school?
What does my child need to know?
What is kindergarten testing?
What can I do to help better prepare my child?
welcome to kindergarten

A non-branded, community service event hosted by Emmanuel Christian School. The information that will be presented is meant to help parents of 4-5 year olds determine if their child is ready to begin as well as to help parents better prepare their children to start school.  From our experience, the students who aren’t quite ready have a much harder time adjusting and excelling in the classroom, which can follow them throughout their school years.  Taking time with a young child to make sure they feel confident when they start kindergarten is critically important to the student’s success in their first year and will create a foundational attitude toward school and learning as a result.

Date: Monday, March 2nd, 2015
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Emmanuel Christian School, 4607 Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623

Join us for this FREE community event. Get valuable information that will help you and your student be prepared for kindergarten!  Please share this information throughout your network and organization. Childcare will be provided.
