The events of the past 18 months have turned our lives upside down, and things seem to be going backwards instead of forwards! But we can find peace knowing that the God of all Creation is still the same, and will always remain the God constant and true

September 19 Worship: 17th Sunday After Pentecost Scripture: Jeremiah 11:18-20; Psalm 54; James 3:13-4:3, 7-8a; Mark 9:30-37 Sermon: “Solidarity” What does it mean to stand in solidarity with those who are marginalized? Solidarity may mean providing means of survival and support. But as Jesus shows, solidarity may also require us to enter uncomfortable, disruptive spaces in our pursuit of justice.

September 26 Worship: 18th Sunday After Pentecost Scripture: Numbers 11:4-6, 10-16, 24-29; Psalm 19:7-14; James 5:13-20; Mark 9:38-50 Sermon: “Dream Big ”This week’s scriptures contain stories of both dreaming and
fear; of great possibilities and great loss; and of all the dynamics that dance between these two extremes. What are your greatest fears? What are your biggest dreams? Do you trust in God enough to live through your fears and embrace your dreams for a better world for all?
