Kairos

Greek for: God’s Special Time

Have you ever thought how special prison ministry is? And how can i get involved? We remember that God named it as something close to His heart! (Matt 25:36) Well that is true but we each need to ask Him if He wants our name on the volunteer list.  So Pray about it if that thought is on your mind.

And so some Intel work for yourself in the meantime. Write Dec 3rd on your calendar for our discovery event about Kairos at Toledo Correctional state prison. It is two hours on Saturday morning (10-12) on Dec 3rd … at Soma City church at Franklin Park Mall 2nd floor across from Rave movie theater.

Hear testimony from the Warden and the Chaplain, as well as men touched by God’s love shared in Kairos! You won’t be sorry! This Kairos program has been presented two times per year since 2003 and touches the lives of many inmates as well as staff.

October 9 Worship– Redeeming Your Time Week 2
Sermon: “Let Your Yes be Yes”
As we look at the life of Christ, we notice that Jesus always ensured that his “yes” was “yes,” from the smallest to the biggest commitments. He also fought to block out noise and create room for silence, stillness, and reflection, which we see all throughout the Gospels as he retreated to still places.
