APPLICATIONS TO BE ACCEPTED FOR SCHOOL SUPPLY ASSISTANCE

SalvationArmyLogoThe Salvation Army will be accepting applications for school supply assistance. DATE (TOLEDO, OHIO) – The Salvation Army will be accepting applications for school supply assistance on Wednesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 23 at their location in downtown Toledo at 620 North Erie Street, Toledo, Ohio 43604. Applications will be accepted between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, and then from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm both days, on a first come, first served.
Parents or guardians must bring the following in order to qualify: photo ID, proof of address (i.e. utility bill) current within 30 days, proof of income current within 30 days, and a birth certificate or proof of custody for each child. The parent or guardian will be given a card with the date and time to return for the distribution. No applications will be accepted for school supplies during distribution.The Salvation Army is always striving to do the ‘Most Good’ in our community everyday for individuals of all ages.

Starting July 6th, The Salvation Army will be collecting school supplies to benefit over 850 students from low income families in grades kindergarten through 12th. By providing basic school supplies and a new backpack, The Salvation Army hopes to level the playing field for children who would not otherwise be able to start school with the supplies they need for academic success.
