Terry McCauleyGood Morning My Friends,
I wanted to share this reflection with you for what it’s worth.
Our daughter, Theresa, has so much care, concern and compassion for people who are said to have developmental disabilities and/or special needs. She has worked with them for most of her life. She sees them as being differently abled, not disabled. She sees them for who they are, people who are loving and lovable and who can teach us so much. She has great insight into how to empower them to be the best that they can be. She remains dedicated to serving them. She also has a great love for family.
Our daughter, Kathy, has care, concern and compassion for the people who work for her and for the people she works for. She deals with people and situations with honesty and integrity in the business world and in her personal life. She and her husband are giving their daughters valuable life skills by their example. Like her sisters, she has a great love for family.
Our daughter, Joyce, has great care, concern and compassion for the poor and the marginalized. She has lived with them, worked with them and walked with them. She has great empathy for them. She believes in empowering people and she gives so freely of herself, her time and her talents. She has a great perspective on life. And too, like her sisters, she has a great love for family.
Barb and I have been married for almost 48 years. Now that I am retired I have been doing a bit more reflecting. This, my latest reflection, came up with the realization that while we don’t have very much in the way of material things we are super rich in love and blessings. Our three daughters and their children are our legacy. And what a legacy they are. They are what we are giving the world and it is a better world for their being in it.
Let me share with you who Barb is. This is what has been written about her and it is so very true.
